About the support from FCS Associates Ltd
Following the Government’s introduction of the Employer’s Apprenticeship Levy (April 2017) DEEP understood their need to proactively identify apprenticeship training delivery opportunities to ensure that they could effectively compete with other apprenticeship delivery providers.

Therefore, following a meeting to discuss need, DEEP commissioned FCS Associates to:

  • Register the organisation to relevant tender portals, to audit existing portal registrations and create a tender portal registration log for ease of use,
  • Deliver a tendering workshop to incorporate the use of tender portals for both the DEEP department and other faculties with tendering interests
  • Provide support in the preparation and submission of a tender

DEEP identified a Framework Tender opportunity with which they required support. To ensure a robust application was created FCS met with the team to fully understand their processes and methodology for Apprenticeship course creation and delivery and to identify the elements of the application that needed completion for a successful submission. Utilising this information, a first draft was written and subsequently approved for on-line submission.

Sheffield Hallam University were successful in their application and were awarded a place on the framework with a potential multi-million pound contract delivery value.

FCS Associates has been extremely supportive in the work that they have done with us over the last couple of months. I found them to be knowledgeable, approachable and we have gained a huge amount of knowledge through our work with them. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
