Univ of Sheffield: Internships + Workplace Projects
The University of Sheffield is offering two funded workplace/internship schemes for SMEs and Charities within Sheffield City Region.
Santander Universities: Employability Scheme 2021
10 x £1,000 grants are available for SMEs and Charities within Sheffield City Region to host a student internship of between 70 and 108 hours.
Organisations can apply if they:
- Have 250 employees or less, and an annual turnover of less than £50million
- Are a UK company, sole trader, partnership, or charity based in the Sheffield City Region
- Can offer a valuable internship that helps students develop their employability, with the option for it to be held remotely.
The Scheme is particularly interested in receiving applications from organisations in sectors where unpaid work experience is the norm so we can provide a paid experience for a student in this area, and/or in sectors that the current pandemic has hit hardest so we can support local businesses in these areas.
The internships can start from mid-June and need to be completed by 31 October 2021.
Closing date for applications: 11 April 2021
