Older People Health & Wellbeing Fund

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to grassroots and volunteer-led charities, community groups, CICs and social enterprises working with intergenerational activities and/or community regeneration that benefit the health and wellbeing of older people across the UK.

The funding is made available through the McCarthy Stone Foundation – Small Grants Programme to support older people facing isolation, loneliness, or poor health; young people who may be falling behind personally and academically; and communities in need of regeneration.

To be eligible for funding, applicants must have an annual income below £500,000 and no more than 12 months of operating costs in reserves.

The types of projects previously supported have included an intergenerational dementia allotment project, and the regeneration of a community space for a ‘shed’.
