Global Majority-led Arts Funding
The Baring Foundation have opened a new funding round for Global Majority-led arts organisations who would like to develop their offer of creative opportunities to people living with mental health problems. To define mental health problems the Foundation use NHS categorizations: anxiety, depression and OCD, psychoses including Bipolar Spectrum Disorder, and addictions. This does not include neurological conditions such as dementia.
Grants of £20k-£60k available for projects taking place over a minimum of two years. To be eligible, you should be: an established arts organisation of any kind (including CICs), operating in the UK. led by global majority communities in terms of both staff and governance.
The aim for the fund is to address the under-representation of artists from ethnically diverse backgrounds working in arts and mental health.
