About the support from FCS Associates Ltd
CD Potter and Sons identified a competitive tender opportunity to become a sub-regional supplier of professional construction services under the YorBuild2 Construction framework that covers the Yorkshire and the Humber Region on behalf of the local councils within the region. A successful tender would confirm that the business has satisfied the councils’ requirements from contractors and is recognised as an approved supplier, providing the business with a regular flow of contract work without the need to tender on a piecemeal basis. The online tender process involved an individual submission for each ‘lot’ the business wanted approval deliver. As the tender was on behalf of local authorities the tender submission process was extensive, it required detailed information concerning all aspects of the business. We were invited by Potter and Sons to support them in the submission. FCS met with Chris Barrow of CD Potter and Sons to establish an understanding of the business, assist in identifying necessary documents required for submission and to establish a timetable that ensured the application would be ready for the submission deadline. Following this FCS developed the initial submission on behalf of CD Potter and Sons ensuring all aspects of the application were concisely expressed and necessary documentation collated and submitted.
