Arts & Culture Benevolent Fund

In light of the changing plans due to the spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19, Arts Council England have announced an additional £1.5 million investment in three benevolent funds to provide immediate support to freelancers who need it most.

a-n The Artists Information Company: £200,000

This investment will provide financial support for artists working in all visual arts disciplines, and other self-employed professionals working in the visual arts, such as curators, art technicians, and those who support artists with the production of their work and exhibitions.

Help Musicians: £650,000

Help Musicians’ Financial Hardship fund will support self-employed and unemployed professional musicians across the country.

Theatre Artists Fund: £650,000

Individual grants of £1000 for freelance professional theatre workers, from backstage workers to dancers, and from technicians to education outreach workers.
