The aim of this competition is to support the identification and development of public sector knowledge assets, including their repurposing, commercialisation or expanded use. These assets may include intellectual property, data, innovation, software and knowhow. There are three strands:

• Knowledge Assets Grant Fund: Explore – for projects with costs of up to £25,000
• Knowledge Assets Grant Fund: Expand – for projects with costs of between £25,001 to £100,000
• Knowledge Assets Grant Fund: Extend – for projects with costs of between £100,001 to £250,000.
